Profilho® is an injectable derived from pure hyaluronic acid which stimulates the creation of collagen and elastin. It is injected directly into the cells and thus hydrates the skin from inside-out. Even though Profilho® is an injectable, similar to fillers, the effect and visible result is entirely different. With fillers, the skin is plumped up and volume is added to the face. That is not the case with Profilho® as it strengthens the skin from inside-out. And because there are no additional ingredients, the hyaluronic acid spreads out effectively through the skin, ensuring maximum hydration and a completely natural result.

This facial treatment is for anyone who would like to combat the appearance of ageing and prevent sagging skin. Profilho® hydrates the skin from inside-out and stimulates the creation of collagen and elastin. This offers radiant, vital skin which looks younger and fresher without making your face look fuller.

A Profilho® treatment at Next Cosmetic Clinics will be carried out by one of our experienced, BIG-registered physicians. First, you must make an appointment for a treatment with Profilho® or, if you’re not quite sure, for skin rejuvenation. During the appointment, you will consult with the physician who will advise you on which treatment is most suitable for your skin and personal aims. If the advice is for a Profilho® treatment, we will take a ‘before’ 3D photo. An anaesthetic cream may also be applied. AccuVein ® is then used to see precisely where Profilho® should be administered. The treatment will take around 15 minutes.

After the facial treatment with Profilho®, it is important that you give your skin time to recover so that the hyaluronic acid can do its job effectively. We, therefore, advise you to avoid sport on the day itself, not to drink any alcohol and not to smoke. In the two weeks after treatment, it is better to avoid direct sunlight and any beauty treatments on your face, and to not go to the sauna or spa.

Initial results will be evident after a couple of weeks. Your skin will appear smoother and more supple. After eight weeks, you will have achieved the ultimate result, and this will last for around a year. For an optimum result, we advise you to have two to three treatments; the physician will explain the best approach with regard to your skin.
